Strike - Over!

"The time has come to accept this contract and settle the strike,'' stated WGA West president Patric A. Verrone.

"Sweet," said New Jersey screenwriter Patrick J. Rodio.

So does this mean you're finally going to sell a script or are you just going to keep talking about it?

Aw, so brave, anonymous.

Here's the thing. I don't just talk. I'm writing my ass off. If I was just sitting here, writing a blog and only TALKING about writing (and not writing screenplays) then you would have a good point.

But, you don't.

Because I write. Every day. And enter contests. Send to production companies. Work with my managers making my scripts better. I've had some scripts optioned.

So, just talk about it? No, I don't just talk. I'm doing it. And if I never sell one, it won't be because I didn't work my ass off trying.

Patrick,

This douchebag ain't worth your time. Anybody that reads your blog knows how hard you work and of the successes you've had.

Yeah, it's still annoying though.
