I finally done it

I'm on myspace.com, yeah I did it. I'm on it for the networking angle, so if you're a spammer/pornsite/whore/pimp/webcam slut/Mel Gibson, don't make me your "friend."

Okay, that Mel comment may have been uncalled for. Maybe not. I've always liked Mel, but it's hard to at this point. After Passion he seemed to sorta lose his mind. And Apoca-lame-o just isn't doing it for me. I mean, dude, your life is handed to you on a gold plate (he's loaded, in other words) the least he could do is NOT fuck it up.

And no, Dr. Phil, there was more than alcohol going on with Mel. You don't just start throwing around racial slurs 'cause you're drunk, sure, I'd buy him being an asshole and calling the cops "dicks" or whatever, but not lobbying out racial slurs (while slurring, no doubt). Plus I've seen footage of his ultra-racist Dad rambling on about how the Holocaust never happened, blah, blah, blah, so I'm sure this stuff was in Mel's head for quite some time.

Just got back from Virginia Beach, we were there a week. Good times, hit the ocean a lot with the fam, the kiddies had a blast checking out the dolphins that seemed to swim by constantly. A bit trashy though tourist-wise, I actually prefer the Outer Banks (Kitty Hawk) that we went to last Summer, but overall stilll a good time, and much better than most Jersey Shores (although Cape May rocks pretty hard).

So, check me out on myspace, add me as a friend or whatever and I'll do the same: http://www.myspace.com/pjrodio

You forget yelling out "Sugartits" at the female officer.

That's a great line though, you gotta admit.

Proper Myspace pimpage requires a link!

Agree with you on the drunkeness doesn't make you suddenly believe zionist conspiracy theories thing. But I did think that Apocalypto sounded interesting -- not a subject covered very often. But I won't it now.

Steve - You're right - I've updated it with the link.

I picked up an account there too and added you and Mel Gibson as friend.

I'm already a webcam slut so I didn't need one of those. But what I really want to do is webcam slut DIRECT.

Seems to me that its more about anger issues for Mel than about racism, and the stufff he undoubtedly learned from his dad is kicking around in that stew for a brain he has (getting ladled out when he's on the sauce).

Personally, though, I though sugartits was a compliment.

Jacky, it never came through, and I'm sure you weren't offensive!

I got one there too for the same reason. Networking, baby!

Thank you, Writergurl.

The racism was offensive but the sexism was okay. I don't think so.

I still think it's a funny line, Sugartits, that's funny dammit. Offensive? Sure, but I can think of A LOT worse. Sugartits is so ridiculous that it's just funny. If someone called me Needledick, I'd just laugh....followed by - How did you know?!

This thread is buried, but I'll comment anyway:

I find most people's moral high ground very questionable. Who out there has never had a bad or evil thought? Who has said somethign to a loved one that they would take back if they could? I mean why would you ever say something you didn't mean?

I don't really care about Mel, but I know it is easy to judge in situations like this. Who here struggles with personal demons? Who here has ever succumbed to them?

Can you imagine if everyones, every thought was visible to everyone else all the time. I think we would be shocked.

I think the best we can do is recognize our faults and try to curb them. Choosing not to speak them is a first step.

Maybe Mel attends Klan meetings and puts a show on for the world. Or maybe he'd grown up a certain way and constantly struggles to supress and eliminate them. Without knowing the answer to those possibilities, how can we judge?

I don't know that I would want my every thought bared to the public, and I don't know that, in a drunken fit, some of those bad thoughts might surface.
